Benefit at Higher Ground, Burlington, VT

My photos from the benefit concert at Higher Ground for Burlington DJ ADog have been featured on the website for East Coast Snowboarding magazine. Andy "ADog" Williams lost everything in a fire that gutted an apartment building on North Ave. in the city earlier this month. Burton, Red Bull and Magic Hat Brewery were among the many sponsors who provided swag for raffles.

Hike & Huck 2008

I made it down to Loon Mountain in New Hampshire this past weekend for one last event held for skiers & snowboarders. Hike and Huck has been going on now for 5 or so, maybe 6 years and has been one of the best ways to conclude a solid season. This year was no exception, with record snowfall in the Northeast, Loon's terrain park put together a large jump and filled in the area around its stair set to have a rail jam. Here's a few shots:Shea Flynn. There's a lot of jokes here. I'll leave it to you to fill in the blanks.Torrey Lyons, who has actually been featured in this blog before, took third place and $50 cash.An unknown rider on the down box, one of 4 setups on Loon's stairset. I had the chance to catch a little league game at Rosemary Park in Burlington. The Center City Little League Yankee's took on the Bears. It was a good game, entertaining to watch and always fun to shoot. Little League is one of my favorite sports to shoot because of the small size of the field which allows for tight shots and the players always show a lot of emotion.
